A brace from Arsenal's Robin van Persie and a last-minute winner from new Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt gave the Netherlands a 3-0 home win over a spirited Belarus side in their Euro 2008 Group G qualifier in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
Van Persie also assisted the third goal in a man-of-the-match performance that should force club coach Arsene Wenger's hand when Arsenal take on fellow strugglers Middlesbrough at home on Saturday.
