Krupa discusses his Decision
Date: 01-07-2006 10:42
The Pitt Panthers have picked up their sixth commit for the month of June and their fourth in the past three days as Florida prospect Nick Krupa and Erie Offensive Lineman Dan Matha both pledged to Pitt this morning. Krupa is a sleeper tight end prospect from Palm Beach County.

Nick Krupa a 6-4, 225-pound tight end from Santaluces High in Lantana, Fla., was at Pitt visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday. Apparently, he saw enough to make a decision as he gave the Panthers his verbal pledge today.
"They offered me after our spring game and we went up this week to visit and I committed," Krupa said. "The visit was great. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city. I had no idea that they shared facilities with the Steelers. The coaches there are great especially (Charlie) Partridge and (Matt) Cavanaugh."
"After talking to the players and my high school coach we felt the facilities at Pitt were unbeatable," Krupa explained. "The whole Steelers thing is what really put them over the top."
The Steel City is also very scenic and played a role in Krupa's decision.
"I loved all the trees and hils there and the rivers," he said. "I am big into fisihing and they had the Bassmasters Classic there last year." Read entire article...
