Milan go out with honour MILAN 2-1 ROMA Kaka pen 5
Date: 15-05-2006 00:33
A dramatic late penalty from Marcio Amoroso gave Milan a 2-1 win over Roma to finish the season in winning fashion. Carlo Ancelotti started Dario Simic at right-back, with Alberto Gilardino partnering Filippo Inzaghi in attack. It was an emotional afternoon at the San Siro, with Jaap Stam taking a well-earned lap of honour during the warm-up to bid farewell ahead of the defender's move to Ajax while the injured Andriy Shevchenko joined the fans behind the goal to watch the game.
Kakà sprints from the half-way line before hitting a low drive which deflects behind for a corner.
